DOC Cesanese di Olevano Romano
The Antiquo name is a tribute to our oldest vineyard in the company planted about 40 years ago. This traditional Cesanese is obtained white these grapes, hand-picked and vinified, a wine that stand for our old passion for the vineyard and for our area.

Soil: Medium texture with a slight prevalence of clay – calcareous
Variety: Cesanese common
Vineyard: 40 years (average age) with 400 plants per hectare
Output: yield of 8 tons/hectar
Winemaking: in stainless steel tanks
Ageing: 16 months duration of which 10 in barrels
Alcohol: 14% vol.
Colore: ruby red with garnet reflex
Smell: olfactory complexity ranging from ripe fruit with hints of leather and mineral notes
Taste: enveloping and warm with hints of spices and minerals combined with well dosed tannins
